D'Artagnan, journal d'un cadet
Literary adaptation. From Alexandre Dumas' work.
Everybody knows the story of the three musketeers: the heroic adventures of D'Artagnan, his honor and his bravery, his friendship fool proof with his partners Athos, Porthos and Aramis… But does this practically mythic picture really match to the character created by Alexandre Dumas? D'Artagnan, journal d'un cadet intends to tell the « real » story of D’Artagnan : the one of a young indecisive man, naïve and a touch clumsy, with relationship far to be idyllic with his three partners. Keeping the epic plot of this famous cloak-and-dagger novel, Nicolas Juncker pays particular attention to bring out the dark side of his characters and their complex psychology.
