D'Artagnan, journal d'un cadet intends to tell the « real » story of D’Artagnan : the one of a young indecisive man, naïve and a touch clumsy, with relationship far to be idyllic with his three partners. Keeping the epic plot of this famous cloak-and-dagger novel, Nicolas Juncker pays particular attention to bring out the dark side of his characters and their complex psychology.
